CPA / CPL Type Insulating Piercing Connectors

The insulating piercing connectors allow splice insulated / insulated lines or insulated / bare line.
The coverage of the main and derived sections allows subscriber connections and line extensions.
Tapping can be performed indifferently on both sides of the connector.
Composition:
• Fibreglass reinforced thermoplastic body with high mechanical and climatic resistance.
• Elastomeric water seal of great dielectric strength and highly resistant to bad weather conditions.
Advantages:
• Underwater dielectric withstand voltage over 6 kV.
• Indistinctly accept aluminium or copper conductors.
• Allows both live line and dead line installation.
• Simultaneous connection on the main and tap conductors achieved with a metallic or composite
hexagonal shear head bolt.
Technical specification:
• EN 50483-4
• UNE 21 021
• NF C 33-020
